Buganda Kingdom has commended Centenary Bank for its various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of its customers.
The acknowledgment was made by Hon. Prof. Twaha Kaawaase Kigongo at the bank’s Muslim farewell ceremony at Hotel Africana.
Hon. Kaawaase said Centenary Bank has various partnerships including the Royal Bank, which has yielded various results, they are known as some of the sponsors of the Provincial Football Tournament, the Attorney General’s Dinner, and other events.
He therefore urged people to increase their trust in the bank in its give-and-you-give approach.
Supreme Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Galabuzi also thanked the bank’s management for coming out and supporting various Islamic initiatives including the construction of hospitals, schools and the annual Muslim fasting.
The bank’s chairman, Mr. Fabian Kasita said that as the management of the bank it gives them strength every time they see that people trust and support them so they are obliged to give back to their customers. But he thanked the relationship the Kingdom and Islam has with their bank, and vowed to continue to support their partnership.
