Eid El-Fitr Prayers: Prince Nakibinge condemns violence in Kawempe election.
The servants of Allah gathered in various mosques today to participate in the Eid prayers after completing the fast.
The mosque in Kibuli, the Grandfather of Islam in Uganda, Prince Dr. Kassim Nakibinge, where he condemned the violence including beatings that appeared in the polls in Kawempe. He urged people, especially the youth, to remain calm especially in the upcoming elections, to help avoid potential life threats.
First Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Prof. Twaha Kaawaase Kigongo thanked the Nnyinimu for his Eid message and urged people to think about it and implement it. He also asked the government to analyze the issue raised by Maasomoogi of the distribution of public services and improve it.
