On behalf of the Katikkiro, the Minister of Information and Publicity and the Spokesperson of the Kingdom, Hon. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke met with Republican Front members including Bbira Henry Kisakye, Chairman and Ssenoga Elvis, Secretary.

Hon. Kazibwe in his message first reminded them that the King encouraged the youth to participate in leadership and fight for the share of Buganda so he thanked them for stepping out to contest, but urged them to be determined and transparent in all they do.

Minister Kazibwe thanked them for their ideas in federal leadership saying that Buganda we stopped fighting for because it helps each region to work on its own issues and the country develops. He urged them to monitor poor roads, poor medical facilities, education and others to help them address issues that affect people

Minister Kazibwe thanked them for representing the Embuga and wished them a successful contest without forgetting the issues of the people.

The party’s chairman Bbira Henry Kisakye said the main reason they came to the Embuga was to present their plans in Ugandan politics and to ask to accompany the Kingdom in their ministry. He said they are looking to prioritize issues that affect people and serve the people well. He also said that they will again prioritize Buganda issues if given the leadership.

Bbira urged his fellow politicians, especially the parties, to bring in politicians who understand the areas they want to lead, stressing that the one who understands the area can serve it well. He thus promises that they as Republicans will appoint different leaders to contest in seats they come from and understand well.
